Recycling of Basalt and Limestone Cutting Dust in Concrete Mix Design

Objectives: The goal is to integrate stone cutting waste into the concrete manufacturing industry reduce environmental degradation. Methods/Analysis: Two types of (Basalt and limestone) were separately collected from local facilities. An experimental program was conducted prepare mixes with 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% replacement sand by two powder. Physical chemical quality testing carried out on water, aggregates, cement used in mix. experiment compared a standard mix (0% replacement) consisting 6 cylinders cubes 24 after 7 days 28 days. Results: Compression, tension, stress tests performed produced specimens. Regarding basalt replacement, 10% showed higher impact compressive strength tension. For limestone, fractions exhibited an insignificant reduction strength, indicating that limestone dust practical for most applications. Replacing can bring several benefits environment enhance project feasibility. Even small fraction improve properties.
